Merry Christmas 2015!

We enjoyed New York City Ballet's "George Balanchine's The Nutcracker" at Lincoln Center. Then, we walked over to The Plaza Hotel and Lina was thrilled to chat with Santa. She had this photo taken with him:

Lina chose a Christmas border for our holiday card (here's a photo of the greeting card):

She asked Santa for a functioning ROBOT and she got a Meccanoid G15 personal robot in a kit. 600 part pieces, 91 steps...we built it together...she loves interacting with it.

NYU Children's Chorus Holiday Concert 2015

Lina very much enjoyed performing (1st time ever in front of an audience) at the NYU Children's Chorus Holiday Concert. As a member of the Novice Chorus (ages 6-8) this semester, Lina rehearsed weekly with five dozen kids at the Frederick Loewe Theatre, memorized 6 songs, learned choreography and some musical notation. Professor Carol Beadle is a fantastic Director/Conductor. Singing has always been one of Lina's favorite activities. She was proud to be a part of this joyous concert. Since she's tall, Lina was on the top row of the choral risers, 3rd from the right: (click pic to enlarge)
