Pirate, Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse, Portrait, Cinderella

She opened up one of her books (Coral Reefs) and copied a picture from the book (click on image to see larger version):

She traced her hand and her feet onto the large sheet of paper to create this picture...

This is an invitation to one of her shows, "Man Sitting Next to the Dog." She often gives me invitations in the morning that include the time of the show and a drawing to represent what the show is about...the shows always take place in her room. She keeps track of the time during the day to make sure the shows never start late.

A snail...

A snake...

Trees, sky, clouds, Lina, water, grass...(loves nature!)...

A dude...

A pirate and a parrot...

Superhero Lina and Superhero Mommy adventure story...a few pages shown below:

Hello Kitty...wearing tutu (copied picture that's on one of her old shirts)...

Mickey Mouse...

and Cinderella...

When I was in our living room, Lina sat down on the floor and drew this portrait of me...in about 5 minutes. She observed not just what I was wearing...but also the position of my legs and arms.

When we went to visit grandma and uncle...and I was sitting at the dining room table (with my legs crossed at the ankles and my hands in my lap) Lina sat at the coffee table nearby and told me not to move. She took a sheet of paper and crayons...and captured my dress, the expression on my face and the position of my body. She felt like she needed to add more details later (eyelashes, eyebrows) but I asked her to give me the picture as is...it's a good natural portrait...I like the style of the drawing, very fluid...focusing on the pose.
