Cutting and Taping Art

Lina is a master of cutting out shapes with the safety scissors (for more than a year) and she has recently become a huge fan of tape. She likes taping shapes that she has cut out...onto other pieces of paper to create artwork. This was a self-initiated project a couple of months ago and didn't require any assistance from me.

Sky...sunshine...grass...

A rainy day...a dog...and his dog house (marked with a dark dog picture), the doggy is going to enter his home to stay dry...

Two folks kissing...

She started to make functional paper art...and made a bag for me (I have a headband in it, below photo)...she also made a "flowery" garbage container for herself (not pictured here) and uses it to clean up little pieces of paper from her room...

"This is an astronaut," she said. Very cool! It's not just the sections of the outfit taped on, the legs, the hands etc. but there's also a cutout in the helmet, which is taped over the paper that has the face on it.

This is a ballerina...(it may not be easy to see...but it has many parts taped on...including the eyes, mouth, sleeves, hands, legs etc.)

She taped on the middle of the sunshine, the grass etc. In person, it has a nice 3D effect.
